Historic Happy Hour Series: All In The Spirit(s) of Fun

As far as happy hours go, these promise to be historic.
Almost once a month, beginning in April, you can join the Old Baldy Foundation for refreshing spirits and special guest speakers, as you raise your glass to the intoxicating topic of the month. We’ll be sharing stories of the boathouse that stood sentinel over Bald Head Creek for a century and viewing photographs of Bald Head Island that are more than 125 years old. We’ll learn how the First World War impacted these shores and about the difficult lives of the keepers of the light. You’ll even get to hear about the escapades of female pirates, and get a brief history of the swimsuit.
Suffice it to say, there may be a few additional tales told as the evening wears on.
Proceeds benefit Old Baldy Foundation, so come thirsty and tip generously.
