Club Memberships

Along with its natural playgrounds, the island offers a wide range of amenities and activities through the Bald Head Island Club, Shoals Club and Bald Head Island Yacht Club. The Indigo Plantation Yacht Club servers boaters on the Southport mainland.

The Bald Head Island Club

With its shingle-style exterior and spacious verandah, the Bald Head Island Club's presence is both stately and welcoming. Amenities include kids’ programs, golf, tennis, croquet and swimming along with fine and casual dining.

Bald Head Island Yacht Club

Membership in the BHI Yacht Club includes exclusive use of a boat slip in the island's 10-acre protected harbor with accommodations for yachts up to 100' with 7' draft at MLW.

Indigo Plantation Yacht Club

Located in Southport along the Intracoastal Waterway, the Indigo Plantation Marina is a three-acre protected harbor with an ice-free basin that accommodates boats with a 7' draft at MLW.
